Lactulose-200 ml Suspension syrup is used to help people with constipation. Lactulose-200 ml Suspension syrup is called a laxative because it draws water into your bowel, making it easier to pass. Lactulose-200 ml Suspension syrup is a liquid that can be consumed with food. You must take Lactulose-200 ml Suspension syrup exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Depending on how well Lactulose-200 ml Suspension syrup works, your dose may be increased or decreased. Medical Uses of Lactulose-200 ml Suspension Syrup

Direction of Use

If you are taking Lactulose-200 ml Suspension syrup by mouth for liver disease, take it as directed by your doctor, usually 3 to 4 times a day. To improve the taste, you may mix Lactulose-200 ml Suspension syrup into fruit juice, water, milk, or a soft dessert. The goal is to have 2 to 3 soft stools each day during the treatment with Lakos-200 ml syrup. The dosage of Lakos-200 ml syrup is based on your medical condition and response to treatment, for example, the number of soft stools each day.

Lakos-200 ml syrup can also be given rectally as an enema for liver disease. Mix the recommended amount of Lakos-200 ml syrup with 700 millilitres (24 ounces) of water or normal saline. Give the mixed solution into the rectum and keep the liquid inside for 30 to 60 minutes as directed by your doctor. If you keep the enema inside for less than 30 minutes, repeat the dose of Lakos-200 ml syrup unless directed otherwise. Use Lakos-200 ml syrup regularly in order to get the most benefit from it and remember to use it at the same time each day.
